A waist bead workshop that centers self-love and body positivity while honoring divine feminine spiritual energy.

The class will begin with introductions, where we will share intentions and affirmations for the waist beads we will create. We will then pass out the kits and teach the process of making waist beads, while also sharing the history of the practice that originates on the African continent. We will continue the evening engaged in conversation and close the night with a collective sound release.

Ticket Price Includes: 2x patties, 2x cocktails, a waist bead kit to create 2x waist beads and instruction by cat dorvilus.

About the Instructor:

cat dorvilus is a Haitian-American, entrepreneur, artist, curator and wanderer originally from Miami, FL. her commitments to community are rooted in creating spaces in alignment with slowing down, self-healing and repairing our severed connection to the earth.
